Director: FPD Seed and Development
Daan is the founder and director of FPD Seed & Development.
He studied BSc Agric at Tukkies and the University of Stellenbosch.
Daan loves to fly and in 2009 he received his wings and is now a qualified pilot. Whenever he can, he spends a weekend away at the farm on Piketberg or with friends and family in the Karoo.
General Manager
Theuns joined the FPD Group in 2007 and is in charge of the Marketing team. He handles all the multiplication and marketing of the different varieties.
Theuns studied B.Sc (Honn) Botany and Limnology.
He likes to spend his free time with his family, he also enjoys a bit of hunting with his friends.
Production Manager: Exports
Morkel has been with FPD since 2010, and is our Seed Production Manager, he manages the seed plantings of FPD. He also handles the exports of seed and fresh potatoes to African countries.
He studied B.Com Agricultural Economics (UOVS)
In his spare time Morkel enjoys a round of golf with his friends or hunting with his family.
Accountant
Pauline is the Accountant for the various companies, handling all the accounts since 2011.
She studied BSc International Honours Degree from CTI College.
Pauline loves reading, especially mystery novels. She spends every spare moment playing with her kids, building Lego, painting or building a fort under the dining room table.
Logistics
Jeanine started at FPD in 2015. She handles all the transport for the FPD Group as well as the sales of Fresh Potatoes to local businesses.
Jeanine is passionate about agriculture and people. When she’s not outdoors spending time with her dogs or horses, you’ll find her in the company of good friends.
